The Lost Years_Series Landscape.png

For 47 years, our theatre sat vacant right here on Tryon Street. But Hollywood never slept. The years were just lost to us.

So we're bringing these "lost years" back this summer.

Beginning on June 8 with the final movie the Carolina Theatre showed in 1978 before we closed our doors, Bruce Lee’s Fist of Fury, we'll reclaim our “lost years” for 13 weeks this summer. After Fist of Fury, we'll present a blockbuster movie from the subsequent year that never had the opportunity to grace the screen of our abandoned theatre, spanning 1979-1990.

Check the full schedule for our Lost Years Summer Blockbuster Movie Series below. All showtimes are 7 p.m. unless noted otherwise. Tickets start at only $10, and you can save up to 20% by purchasing a Lost Years Summer Blockbuster Series Flex Pass.

We'll see you this summer.
